I’m Bill Michelson and I’m running this November 8 for Plainfield City Council, 2nd Ward, on the GOP ticket. I’m an attorney, and I’m also a planner. I’ve lived in Plainfield for 25 years and have served both on the Planning Board and the Historic Preservation Commission. I don’t think we’re getting our money’s worth for the outrageous property taxes we pay. But that will never change, until the people elect a fiscal conservative, someone with no loyalty to the Machine that has nearly run this City into the ground. I’m therefore running as the “Checks and Balances” candidate.
